Supercapacitors

Performance within seconds

Supercapacitors – also known as supercaps – are capacitors distinguished by an extremely high capacity of up to several thousand farads. These can be double-layer or Li-ion capacitors. They absorb peak loads in the grid and provide extremely high power densities within seconds. They are used among other things for hybrid and fuel cell technologies, in starter modules for diesel equipment, and in automotive engineering.
